Tony Bradley over at Forbes.com seems to think so... and if I'm being perfectly honest, he might be right.
Cybersecurity budgets are on the rise. Malware attacks are more popular than ever. Between 2016 and 2020 global cybersecurity spending is predicted to eclipse $1 trillion!
Bradley makes a great point when he says no matter how much money big companies throw at the cybersecurity issue, nothing really seems to make a difference.
Bradley argues that firewalls and anti-malware software is still necessary but not enough in today's cybersecurity climate. He suggests people add additional technology like:
- Multi-factor authentication
- Behavioral analytics
